Main Stage
The 18th edition of the festival will be dedicated to Bob Marley, one of the fathers of reggae music; in occasion of his thirty-year passing, there will be many artists connected to this great character that will perform on the Main Stage.
On stage international superstars, top European champions and the winners of the European Reggae Contest. MCs and Dee-jays entertain the audience during stage changeovers. Shows start at sunset and end at around 2 am.
SHAGGY:
Shaggy is one of the most famous and loved Jamaican artists in the world, and the ability he used to carry his dancehall and his r&b to the top-ten worlwide pop allowed him to conquer many different groups of people without losing his credibility to the hardcore reggae fans.
His brilliant career started thanks to the success of "Oh Carolina" in the 1993 passing through the #1 in the USA with "Boombastic" in 1995 and the six millions of copies sold with "Hot Shot" in year 2000. His last CD "intoxication" from 2008 containing by now classic tracks like "Church heaten" and "Bonafide girl" has been nominated for a Grammy Award. Shaggy has just won in the United States the International Humanitarian Award for his various charity works.
